Take a moment to imagine — you’re in the market for a new gym, or you’re travelling and just want to get in a decent workout. So you find an exercise facility that’s close by and walk in the front door. The guy at the counter? Serious attitude problem. The fitness professional you have a question for? They’re more interested in checking social media than helping you out. In short, the place has a profoundly unfriendly vibe, and you’re regretting walking in that front door in the first place.

At Midtown Strength, we get it. We’ve all been to Attitude Problem Athletics in the past, and we were determined not to let the same thing happen. That’s why when we opened in 2008, we were determined to make our gym a place that’s welcoming to everyone, from the novice to the professional athlete and everyone in between. We bring more than 20 years of experience to bear in helping our clients achieve their fitness goals. But we don’t believe in “fitness shaming” someone who’s just getting started, and we’ll never act like an obnoxiously exclusive club that you should be grateful to belong to.

In the end, we all have our separate goals and individual paths. But we can make it a point to be decent to each other. If this is your first time or your 50th time here, welcome.
